Windows Icon-Cute Light Blue

Spent a few nights to work this out. All for my practice. Coz I haven't done Icon design for months. This time just picked it, and wanted to create some new-feeling icons, trying to let them make sense and different from those popluar polished,smooth Mac or Vista-like icons. Hopefully this set differs. Also trying to make them relatively simple(a bit dislike the complicate, effect-oriented icons, icons must have its meanings or even implications, to be honest, i found many our Chinese icon designers tend to make icons complicated, paying too much attention to the visual effect, some just look like real 3D-made. Don't forget the magic of 2D! and Don't let the icons lose its original definition. V effect matters, but they are designed to serve the functions of icons. Though I'm not an expert icon designer, I have to mention this, in case of anywho who make this kind of mistake) Got the inspiration when I was designing a character of my laste Flash MTV for a design contest, when I was vectorizing it in Illustrator, I found the way I drew its head could also be employed to a fancy icon set design. Then you see this piece of work now.
